Job summary

Principle in Dublin is hiring an experienced Procurement Executive to join its public sector team. Based in Dublin with hybrid working, the role focuses on delivering end-to-end public procurement processes in line with Irish regulations.

You will manage tender processes from specification to award, prepare and advertise tenders on eTenders.gov.ie, and advise internal stakeholders on compliant routes including OGP frameworks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' public procurement experience.
• Knowledge of Irish public sector procurement regulations and guidelines.
• Hands-on experience using eTenders.gov.ie.
• Experience managing full end-to-end public tender processes.
• Knowledge of OGP frameworks and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support end-to-end tender processes, from initial specification through to contract award.
• Create, advertise and manage tenders through eTenders.gov.ie.
• Advise stakeholders on appropriate procurement routes, including OGP frameworks.
• Provide guidance on procurement documentation, evaluation criteria, timelines and regulatory requirements.
• Support tender evaluations, scoring processes and standstill/notification letters.
• Maintain accurate tender and contract records and ensure strong procurement governance.
• Work closely with colleagues across the organisation, providing practical procurement advice and support.

We are recruiting for an experienced Procurement Executive to join a high-profile public sector organisation in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Irish public procurement experience who is confident managing tender processes, working with eTenders and advising internal stakeholders on compliant procurement practices.

The Role

Working as part of an established Procurement and Compliance team, you will support the delivery of end-to-end public procurement processes, ensuring tenders are managed efficiently and in line with public sector regulations and best practice.

You will:

• Manage and support end-to-end tender processes, from initial specification through to contract award.
• Create, advertise and manage tenders through eTenders.gov.ie.
• Advise stakeholders on appropriate procurement routes, including OGP frameworks.
• Provide guidance on procurement documentation, evaluation criteria, timelines and regulatory requirements.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years' public procurement experience, with procurement forming a core part of your role.
• Strong knowledge of Irish public sector procurement regulations and guidelines.
• Hands-on experience using eTenders.gov.ie is essential.
• Experience managing full end-to-end public tender processes.
• Knowledge of OGP frameworks and public procurement best practice.
• Holding or currently pursuing a relevant public procurement qualification, ideally the Professional Diploma in Public Procurement (IPA).
• Level 8 third-level qualification.
• Excellent stakeholder management, organisation and attention to detail.
