Job summary

Intact Insurance Ireland DAC is seeking an experienced Senior Property Loss Adjuster to manage both household and commercial claims from initiation to resolution. The role emphasizes customer-focused service, strong communication, and effective field-based assessments across Ireland, with hybrid work options and opportunities for professional growth.

Applicants should have CIP and Dip LA / ACILA / ACII qualifications, 10+ years in loss adjusting, and proven negotiation and relationship-building

Qualifications

CIP qualification is required.
Dip LA / ACILA / ACII qualification is required.
Over 10 years' loss adjusting experience is required.
Experience dealing with brokers and various customers.
Experience with commercial insurance claims including business interruption.
Strong negotiation, verbal and written communication skills.
Field-based role with a full driving license.

Responsibilities

Oversee household and commercial claims from initiation to resolution with a customer-focused approach.
Utilize negotiation skills to achieve optimal settlements while maintaining high service levels.
Prepare and deliver case decisions within approved processes and authority levels.
Assess scene of loss, gather information, document findings and advise customers.
Manage multiple cases with strong organizational skills and participate in surge event support.
Provide guidance and coaching to junior colleagues on customer and risk-related topics.
