Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Project Management Professional to lead semiconduct or projects, interfacing with clients and internal teams to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in appropriate management, engineering subject or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of project management processes and procedures.
  • Proven execution planning skills and ability to manage resources.
  • Knowledge of HSE procedures and practices.
  • Experience coordinating complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Familiarity with project controls, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Understanding of proposals and bid processes.
  • Understanding of engineering estimate basis.
  • Understanding contractual requirements for the project.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the business-customer relationship and project delivery.
  • Plan and oversee implementation within budget and requirements.
  • Handle financials, scheduling, and forecasting.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and resource availability.
  • Provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and contractual standards.
  • Lead coordination between client, teams, and vendors.
  • Support governance and compliance throughout the project.

As a Senior Project Management Professional, you’ll join our collaborative team providing our clients with award-winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build project delivery. We are looking for a passionate Project Management Professional who is driven by collaboration, exceeding expectations, and challenging the status quo.

You will apply your project design management knowledge and experience in the technical delivery of Semiconductor projects to support the commercial and technical interface between project teams and the client and their stakeholders. Your direction, guidance, and support will help our teams to achieve excellence and you’ll therefore play an important role in supporting our client's overall project goals. You will also be able to take responsibility for the safe delivery of the project including managing Contract administration, invoicing, forecasting, schedule management and quality documentation. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing the business-customer relationship.
  • Plan and oversee the implementation of the project, ensuring staying within budget constraints and meeting requirements.
  • Manage the financial and schedule requirements.
  • Liase with KRA GID management for appropriate Staff and manage necessary resources to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Interface and oversees Subcontractor management; ensures subcontractors’ performance meets all contractual requirements and quality standards.
  • Maintains close liaison with the customer to prioritize key tasking and ensure timely resolution of any programmatic issues.
  • Responsible for developing/coordinating all forecasts, estimates, proposals, BOEs, and other projects/task-related contractual actions with the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Provides oral and written reports of project/task status and ensures contract deliverables are delivered to the appropriate stakeholders’ contractual requirements.
  • Regularly briefs senior management and other key stakeholders on project/task status measurement data.
  • Endorses and implements company policies and procedures

Here’s what you’ll need
  • Degree qualified in appropriate management, engineering subject or equivalent

  • Strong Process Engineering Technical knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of HSE procedures and practices
  • Strong in organising and managing complex project activities
  • Working knowledge of project control systems
  • Knowledge of proposals and bid processes
  • Understands engineering estimate basis
  • Understands contractual requirements for the project
Ideally, you’ll also have
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management or related field
