Job summary

HRM Search Partners is seeking an experienced Laboratory Systems Project Manager for a 12-month contract in Dublin, with hybrid work arrangements. You will plan, coordinate, and deliver LabWare LIMS projects across regulated and non-regulated labs, ensuring CSV, data integrity, and GxP compliance throughout the lifecycle.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets and governance, and drive site deployments, upgrades, integrations, and user training while maintaining inspection

Qualifications

  • Hands-on familiarity with LabWare LIMS v7/v8, LabWare modules, or configuration methods.
  • Experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, clinical, or chemical manufacturing sectors.
  • Exposure to instrument integrations, ERP connections, cloud-hosted applications, or Citrix environments.
  • Formal Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) or ITIL framework knowledge.
  • Degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or Quality Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end delivery of LabWare LIMS and associated laboratory systems, including new rollouts, upgrades, system integrations, and site deployments.
  • Establish project charters, deliverables, RAID logs, budgets, and governance frameworks; report regular progress to executive steering committees and key business leads.
  • Coordinate activities across internal laboratory teams, Quality/Compliance, IT, external LabWare consultants, and third-party vendors.
  • Work closely with validation, IT, and Quality teams to ensure all activities comply with change control, CSV, data integrity, and document management standards.
  • Oversee requirements mapping, UAT, defect management, system cutover, end-user training, and post-go-live hypercare.
  • Support seamless data flow between LabWare LIMS and laboratory instruments, ERP systems, middleware, and reporting tools.
  • Refine project delivery frameworks, laboratory IT standards, and governance templates to ensure inspection readiness.
  • Proven track record managing LIMS or scientific IT projects, specifically LabWare LIMS implementations or upgrades.
  • Solid understanding of laboratory workflows (sample management, QC testing, audit trails) within GxP, GMP, GLP, or ISO environments.
  • Clear grasp of CSV lifecycles, documentation (IQ/OQ/PQ, validation summary reports), and data integrity guidelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, resources, schedule risks, and cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and problem-solving skills across technical and business audiences.

Job description

HRM Search Partners has been engaged to secure an experienced Laboratory Systems Project Manager on a contract basis.

  • Duration: 12 Month Contract (DRC)
  • Location: Dublin - hybrid

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering high-profile laboratory systems projects across regulated and non-regulated laboratory environments. The core focus will center on LabWare LIMS implementations and major enhancements, alongside related laboratory and quality IT platforms.

You will lead cross-functional delivery from initiation through to deployment and service transition, ensuring all solutions meet strict GxP, ISO, data integrity, and computerised system validation (CSV) standards.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  • Project Leadership: Drive end-to-end delivery of LabWare LIMS and associated laboratory systems, including new rollouts, upgrades, system integrations, and site deployments.

  • CSV & Compliance Knowledge: Clear grasp of Computer Systems Validation lifecycles, CSV documentation (traceability matrices, IQ/OQ/PQ, validation summary reports), and data integrity guidelines.
