Job summary

BMD is seeking a Project Manager to plan and manage multiple contracts from initiation through close-out across site operations. You will coordinate with Construction Managers, estimate pre-contract activity, and ensure safe, on-time, within-budget delivery while maintaining high quality.

You will lead planning, risk management, and client communication to drive profitable, repeat business. Ideal candidates have a Mechanical Engineering or Construction degree, a Project Management certificate,

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction or equivalent.
• Project Management Certificate or Diploma.
• MSIC or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project, Visio).
• Completion of MSIC or equivalent.
• Min 10 years relevant work experience in construction phase of pharma/electronics/oil & gas.

Responsibilities

• Develop project execution strategies including vendor and subcontractor selection.
• Establish construction supervision teams across sites and contracts.
• Collaborate with EHS to establish site safety requirements and incident investigations.
• Manage client relationships to ensure customer loyalty and repeat business.
• Plan all aspects from initiation to closure with critical path analysis.
• Identify and manage contract risk and opportunities.
• Oversee progress reporting across multiple contracts.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, Commercial, Procurement and Estimating for contract execution.
• Attend and chair site meetings with stakeholders.
• Oversee progress reporting and earned value for cost forecasting.
• Liaise with commercial team to manage contract costs.
• Lead resolution of customer complaints and drive improvements.
• Liaise with resource managers for mobilization/demobilization of site resources.
• Ensure QA/QC to meet standards and client specs.
• Ensure on-time final acceptance and takeover of each contract.
