Job summary

BMD & Co Ltd is seeking a Project Engineer to provide mechanical engineering support to the construction team, ensuring delivery of compliant, safe and high-quality mechanical systems.

You will coordinate scope, manage interfaces, review designs, prepare documentation, and support QA/QC and handover activities to the client. A degree in mechanical engineering and hands-on project experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction or equivalent.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Proficient in NavisWorks or equivalent.
• MSIC certification desirable.
• Min 2 years relevant work placement as mechanical or project engineer.
• Experience in piping fabrication, installation and testing in process industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering support to the construction team.
• Plan, coordinate and technically oversee mechanical works to meet schedule, budget and quality.
• Generate RAMS/Method Statements and liaise with client representatives.
• Prepare bills of quantities and coordinate material deliveries.
• Review designs for constructability and manage RFIs.
• Support QA/QC and handover to the client.
