The Recruitment Company is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join a large financial services organisation, delivering a varied portfolio of technology projects across application development teams.

You will drive the adoption of new technologies while overseeing ongoing maintenance, enhancements and development of existing enterprise applications, across multiple delivery teams. Strong governance, budgets and risk management will be required to ensure timely delivery to high standards.

Competenze

• Demonstrated experience leading complex IT project deliveries, ideally involving enterprise software development and application teams.
• Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, and familiarity with project tracking and delivery tools such as JIRA.
• Experience overseeing project budgets, resource planning, delivery schedules, milestones and risk management, with a consistent track record of successful project delivery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and business teams at all levels.
• Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams, maintain delivery focus and provide clear progress updates to key stakeholders.

IT Project Manager | Financial Services | Long-Term Contract

- 12 month contract, up to €550/day

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join a large financial services organisation, managing a varied portfolio of technology projects across application development teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the adoption of new technologies while overseeing the ongoing maintenance, enhancement and development of existing enterprise applications.

Working across multiple delivery teams, you will take ownership of projects through the full development lifecycle, coordinating resources, managing budgets and timelines, tracking risks and dependencies, and ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard.

Key Requirements

- Demonstrable experience leading complex IT project deliveries, ideally involving enterprise software development and application teams.

- Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, and familiarity with project tracking and delivery tools such as JIRA.

- Experience overseeing project budgets, resource planning, delivery schedules, milestones and risk management, with a consistent track record of successful project delivery.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams at all levels.

- Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams simultaneously, maintain delivery focus and provide clear progress updates to key stakeholders.

Exposure to Financial Services or other highly regulated environments would be advantageous. Familiarity with application deployment, monitoring and infrastructure technologies such as Docker, Dynatrace, Splunk and CI/CD tooling would also be beneficial.

Experience managing external technology suppliers, software upgrades and licensing arrangements is desirable. PMP certification or previous experience in a large financial services organisation would be an advantage but is not essential.
