Job summary

STS Group, headquartered in Ireland, is seeking a Project Director to lead multiple concurrent projects within the Transmission & Distribution division, ensuring safety, service excellence, profitability, and stakeholder development.

The role oversees Project Managers and covers commercial management, planning, procurement, construction, QA, health and safety, engineering, and people development. This role can be based in Waterford, Cork or Dublin.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree or recognised trade qualification.
• 10+ years' experience managing large construction projects.
• Strong understanding of high voltage electrical infrastructure and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of the Irish MV/HV sector and key clients/consultants.
• Familiarity with civil, structural and architectural packages.
• Proven leadership with strategic mindset and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Oversee successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects.
• Provide leadership and support to Project Managers.
• Oversee commercial management, planning, procurement, construction, QA, health and safety.
• Develop and train project personnel.
