ESB seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial aspects of major civil engineering projects in the power sector. You will lead cost control, tendering, and post-contract commercial activities across Ireland, coordinating with design teams, ESB partners, and contractors.
The role emphasizes strong communication, reporting, and mentoring of junior staff, with a hybrid working model and travel to project locations as required. MRICS/MSCSI qualification is highly valued.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor role will encompass all aspects of quantity surveying including cost, contract and commercial risk management for our full range of civil engineering projects related to infrastructure development in the power industry. The role will encompass close liaison with other design professionals, our partners across ESB and contractors. Increasing visibility of the Quantity Surveying function across ESB, while maintaining standards, developing others and enhancing stakeholder management are key requirement for this role.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor position will be within the Commercial Team.

This position is based in EMP Offices at The Sidings Building, Dublin 2 or Eastgate, Little Island, Cork but travel to project locations as required, is a key requirement of the role.

The successful candidate may work flexibly within thejurisdictionwhere they have been employed, with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaborationat least two days per week.
