Job summary

Brightflag is seeking an accomplished Product Designer to own end-to-end product design in a product-led SaaS environment. You will partner closely with the Product Management and Engineering teams, shaping strategy, discovery, and delivery with a strong focus on user-centred design and data-informed decisions.

You will contribute to design systems, accessibility standards, and AI-enhanced workflows while collaborating across squads to raise the baseline of our user experience.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product design experience in a product-led SaaS environment.
• Collaborates with Product Management and Engineering as part of a tight product trio.
• Strong in human-centred design and discovery; frames problems clearly and validates direction.
• Able to use qualitative research and quantitative product data to shape decisions.
• Proficient with product analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA.
• Experience owning meaningful product areas end-to-end, beyond screens.
• Familiar with iterative, Agile product environments and small increments.
• WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility as a baseline, not an afterthought.
• Experience in AI-driven or data-rich products; in legal tech or compliance-adjacent B2B SaaS.

Responsibilities

• Communicate design vision, trade-offs and decisions clearly to cross-functional partners and leadership.
• Untangle ambiguous problem spaces into clear direction, aligning stakeholders with sketches and flows.
• Plan multi-quarter design work, de-risking projects by tackling riskiest assumptions first.
• Lead and contribute to human-centred discovery and research with the team.
• Use product analytics to inform design decisions and identify friction or opportunity.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to shape solutions.
• Make pragmatic calls to ship and learn in short cycles.
• Stay close to customer workflows via Customer Success and Support feedback.
• Raise the bar for design systems, critique, and cross-squad collaboration.
• Contribute reusable patterns to the Brightflag Design System.
