Job summary

Jobgether SRL in Ireland is seeking a Senior Product Design Engineer to own core product surfaces from concept through production, blending design craft with frontend engineering.

You will build reusable primitives, evolve a shared design system, and prototype with AI tools, ensuring accessibility and production-ready implementations.

The role is remote-first and async, offering high autonomy and the chance to influence a globally used scheduling platform.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a product designer with ownership of complex areas through launch.
• Strong frontend engineering skills in HTML, CSS, TypeScript and React.
• Ability to independently turn concepts into production-ready implementations.
• Experience designing custom UI components and primitives; headless systems a plus.
• Familiarity with open-source component ecosystems and motion design principles.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and async collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own core product surfaces from concept through production, including booking flows and scheduling primitives.
• Translate problems into high-quality designs, prototypes, and production-ready components.
• Build and test prototypes with AI-assisted tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and v0.
• Deliver components that engineers can use directly with accessible semantics and states.
• Maintain and improve the shared component library and design system.
• Ensure consistency across tokens, spacing, dark mode, and interaction patterns.
• Collaborate with product/design leadership and document decisions for asynchronous use.
