Job summary

Glanua is seeking a Design Lead for the Process & Hydraulic Engineering discipline for a regional role in the UK. You will lead delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects from concept through to construction, commissioning and operations, owning robust design solutions and mentoring engineers within a multi-disciplinary team.

You will coordinate MEICA interfaces, develop intelligent P&IDs, carry out hydraulic calculations, and support tender proposals.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Level 8 Honours Degree in Chemical, Water/Wastewater, Environmental or Process Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum of 12 years’ relevant experience, preferably in water/wastewater or process engineering.
  • Professional accreditation (e.g., Chartered Engineer) is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic design leadership and manage defined work packages.
  • Coordinate MEICA interfaces across disciplines for integrated design.
  • Develop intelligent P&IDs and PFDs with data-rich systems integration.
  • Contribute to tender-stage design and CPD within a multidisciplinary team.
