Job summary

Qumulo is seeking a Pricing and Deal Desk Manager to oversee deal structuring and pricing excellence across EMEA and APAC. You will partner with Sales, Finance, and Operations to guide strategy, pricing decisions, and deal execution in real time.

You will refine discounting, management of credits and multi-year agreements, and build scalable pricing models while ensuring transparent workflows across regions. This role is based in Cork with a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or Pricing Analytics.
• Hands-on experience with complex pricing models (consumption/usage, credits, term structures, multi-tier channel deals).
• Strong quantitative or analytical skills to interpret data for decisions.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills; CRM experience.
• Experience using AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT for analysis and documentation.
• Collaborates across Sales, Finance, Operations, and C-level stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred; advanced degree is a plus.
• Bonus: contract review, additional languages, cloud marketplace deals, or distributor/reseller pricing.

Responsibilities

• Review, shape, and approve deals; challenge structures that don't work and improve workflow speed.
• Structure non-standard deals with EMEA and APAC teams to balance revenue, margin, and velocity.
• Refine pricing frameworks, discounting, and models for complex commercial structures.

• Build and scale pricing models and tools to evaluate profitability across regions and channels.
• Own pricing documentation and paths; enable the field with training and best practices.
• Work hybrid from the Cork office, onsite three days a week.

About The Pricing And Deal Desk Manager Position

As our first Pricing and Deal Desk Manager in EMEA, you'll be critical to supporting complex deal structuring and pricing excellence across EMEA and APAC. You'll sit at the intersection of Sales, Finance, and Operations, and become a trusted partner that guides sales strategy, pricing decisions, and overall execution of the deal lifecycle.

You'll work with sellers in real time to shape and execute deals, while helping us refine, evolve, and simplify our pricing models, including how we manage discounting, multi-year agreements, and reseller or channel partner sales.

You'll have an enormous impact on our ability to maintain sales velocity, while having the freedom to creatively influence pricing model and deal strategies.

As our Pricing and Deal Desk Manager at Qumulo, you will:

• Review shape, and approve deals with the authority to challenge structures that don't work, while improving the speed, transparency, and consistency of our workflows
• Work with sellers in EMEA and APAC to structure non-standard deals and balance revenue, margin, and deal velocity
• Use data to refine pricing frameworks, methodologies, and discounting for complex commercial structures: consumption models with credits, enterprise license agreements, and deals routed through distributors and resellers
• Analyze historical deal data to test discount guidance and thresholds, and recommend where they should move
• Build and scale pricing models and tools to evaluate deal profitability across regions, channels, and competitive dynamics
• Own the documentation for pricing, policy, and approval paths as the model evolves, and help enable the field with training and best practices
• Work hybrid from our Cork office, on site three days a week.

Our Ideal Pricing And Deal Desk Manager Will Have

• 4+ years in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or Pricing Analytics
• Hands-on experience with complex pricing models such as consumption or usage-based models, credits, term structures, and multi-tier channel deals
• Strong quantitative or analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets to drive decisions
• Advanced skills with Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) and Excel or Google Sheets
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT for analysis and documentation
• Track record of collaborating across Sales, Finance, Operations, and C-level stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred; dvanced degree would be a plus
• Bonus points for: Contract review experience, additional language skills, experience with cloud marketplace or infrastructure-inclusive deal structures, and/or pricing through distributor or reseller channels
