Job summary

E-Frontiers in Ireland is seeking a Pre-Construction Electrical Manager to lead electrical pre-construction activities for major projects. The role focuses on coordinating electrical and CSA design with consultants and subcontractors to ensure technically robust solutions before project commencement.

You will review employer requirements, manage risks, support value engineering, assist with procurement planning, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in pre-construction, design management or project engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems in complex construction projects.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of procurement.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical pre-construction activities from tender to handover.
• Review employer's requirements, specs and tender documentation.
• Coordinate electrical and CSA design with consultants and subcontractors.
• Identify technical risks and mitigation strategies.
• Support value engineering while maintaining quality and schedule.
• Assist with procurement planning for electrical packages.
• Engage in client meetings and technical workshops.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and project requirements.
• Work with estimating, commercial and project teams.
