Job summary

DesignBuild Search is seeking Electrical Engineers for multiple openings in Dublin on Commercial and Pharma projects. The successful candidates will review drawings and specifications, develop engineering solutions, and coordinate with subcontractors and clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience with main or electrical contractor preferred.
• Strong IT skills with CAD/analysis tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a full design review of drawings, specifications and schedules to ensure compliance with applicable standards and industry guides.
• Responsible for developing engineering alternative solutions, including detailed calculations and sketches for client approval.
• Engineering software tools including, Dialux or Relux, Amtech Pro Design, Navisworks, BIM 360, Procore etc.
• Review of the co-ordinated construction drawings and documentation.
• Preparing Sub-contract and supplier Tender Packages in conjunction with Project QS.
• Prepare and monitor technical submittals for approval by the client.
• Review BCAR preliminary inspection plan and coordinate with the quality team.
• Preparation of operation and maintenance manuals

DesignBuild Search are working closely with one Irelands leading M&E contractors. Due to ongoing work they have multiple openings for Electrical Engineers throughout Dublin. The successful applicants will be involved on Commercial and Pharma projects. This position will offer career structure and a clear path to management.

Minimum:

Degree or in Electrical Engineer

3+ years' Engineering experience

Previous experience with main or Electrical contractor.

Excellent IT skills, particularly in AutoCAD, Navisworks and Microsoft Office Packages preferred but not essential.
