Job summary

Mediolanum International - Ireland seeks a Senior Portfolio Operations Analyst to join the Dublin-based Operations Department. You will be a senior member of the Portfolio Operations Team, ensuring data integrity and overseeing complex operational processes.

The role requires extensive asset class experience, strong analytical skills and a track record of driving improvements and mentoring juniors within a leading asset manager.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Portfolio Operations, Middle Office, Investment Operations or related investment management environment.
• Extensive front to back understanding of Fund / Asset Management processes.
• Strong knowledge of funds, equities, fixed income, FX, credits and derivatives.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL or data analytics tools.
• Professional qualification such as CFA is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee setup, valuation and maintenance across multiple asset classes.
• Maintain securities database in the OMS and manage market referential data.
• Perform IBOR validation activities and ensure data integrity across systems.
• Investigate and resolve complex data exceptions impacting portfolio management and reporting.
• Resolve daily cash, position and market value reconciliations including trade capture and pricing.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in securities processing procedures and industry standards.
• Set up new funds, portfolios and portfolio structure; support changes to data flows and systems.
• Develop and implement advanced solutions to streamline processing activities.
