Job summary

HedgeServ is seeking a role within our Ireland-based fund administration team. You will review cash and position reconciliations, resolve breaks, and ensure compliance with controls as part of a collaborative, client-centric operation.

You will support junior staff, help meet deadlines, and work in a flexible hybrid environment within a global firm that values relationships, innovation and expertise.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in hedge fund administration.
• Accounting, Finance, Legal or Business degree.
• IT literate with IT skills.
• Strong English verbal and written communication.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and well organized.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Flexible, team player and able to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills and leadership potential.
• Take ownership of designated tasks.

Responsibilities

• Review cash and position reconciliations.
• Resolve break items on reconciliations promptly.
• Review compliance with checklists, procedures and controls.
• Coordinate with internal service departments to resolve fund issues.
• Escalate issues and aged items to Portfolio Accounting Manager.
• Mentor Portfolio Accountants and assist with goal setting.
• Ensure pre-agreed deadlines are met consistently.
