Job summary

IPS, a Berkshire Hathaway company, seeks a Project Manager in Cork, Ireland to lead complex life sciences projects. You will plan and organise engineering functions, coordinate client interaction, and guide manpower and resource loading for diverse projects from retrofits to greenfield builds.

The role emphasises delivering on scope, cost, schedule and quality, developing proposals, identifying risks, and reporting with minutes and schedules.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience delivering projects, including 5+ years in a PM role.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Experience in life sciences facility design.
• Construction experience and knowledge of Earned Value and project controls.
• Commitment to safety and IPS safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects on scope, cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and help prepare proposals with leadership.
• Identify project risks and mitigate with senior leadership.
• Manage project scope and communicate scope changes to clients.
• Prepare and maintain minutes, execution plans, and financial/schedule reports.
