Smartfrog, a global IoT platform, seeks a Backend Software Engineer to grow our cloud platform. You will help scale distributed services, improve stability, and introduce new technologies while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Required: 4+ years in backend systems, Python or Go, RESTful APIs, and strong testing. Bonus familiarity with AWS, Kafka, and data stores like DynamoDB and Redis. Dublin/Remote work options available.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 4+ years in backend-focused software engineering.
• Experience with distributed, scalable backend systems.
• Knowledge of data streaming architectures and RESTful APIs.
• Strong testing fundamentals and English communication.
