Job summary

TGS International Group seeks a Planning Manager to lead strategic and operational planning for complex construction projects with a focus on M&E installations. You will drive programme development, resource planning, progress tracking and reporting through pre-construction to close-out.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in construction planning in a senior role.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, ASTA Powerproject, and Microsoft Project.
• Experience delivering fully resourced, logically linked programmes.
• Experience on large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects, ideally with M&E focus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and maintain detailed master programmes using scheduling tools.
• Produce Level 1-4 programmes in line with contract expectations.
• Resource-load programmes and link to cost and procurement.
• Incorporate subcontractor input into the programme.
• Track progress and compare against baseline metrics.
• Generate and interpret a full suite of planning outputs.
• Identify schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Maintain live risk registers for planning risks.
• Lead scenario modelling and recovery analysis.
• Support acceleration with crash strategies while safeguarding safety and quality.
• Align programmes with NEC, FIDIC, or JCT requirements.
• Present planning information to clients, leadership and stakeholders.
• Support tender/bid-stage programmes and mentor junior planners.
• Help standardise planning practices across the organisation.
