Job summary

Accenture Ireland is seeking a Planning/Scheduling Consultant (Infrastructure & Capital Projects) to shape complex transport and energy programmes. Hybrid from Dublin or Cork, with occasional travel, the role blends first-principles scheduling, BIM integration, 4D/5D visualization, and data‑driven insights to accelerate decision making.

You will develop integrated P6 schedules, run baselines and time-impact analyses, and lead performance reporting for multi‑party projects.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated industry planning/scheduling experience in transport and/or energy.
• Strong Primavera P6 capability with progress updates and reporting.
• Understanding of construction methods and productivity rates.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Willingness to deepen first-principles planning and QSRA/4D skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and assure integrated P6 schedules (concept to commissioning) with sound WBS/OBS, coding, calendars, and resource loading.
• Prepare baselines, change updates and time‑impact analyses; maintain critical path integrity.
• Produce narratives and data‑rich look‑ahead reports for leaders.
• Set programme planning strategy and standards across suppliers and contracts.
• Align schedule with cost, risk and procurement; support change control and recovery.
