Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ireland has an exciting opportunity for a Planner to lead scheduling and cost control across project phases, overseeing multiple projects valued 2–35 Million EUR. You will set up and maintain schedules, analyse cost and risk, monitor deviations and report to project management.

Location: Ireland (Hybrid) with travel to Dublin and other sites. Visa support is not available for this position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Planner in EPC projects or similar
• Strong planning and scheduling skills with mature methods and tools
• Operational experience within project teams
• Effective communication across business areas
• Knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6
• Willingness to travel

Responsibilities

• Analyze project requirements with the team to develop realistic schedules
• Monitor progress and critical paths; report deviations and optimize resources
• Issue progress reports and updates for stakeholders
• Establish baseline cost performance and coordinate with resources
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain and contractors on scope changes
• Coordinate procurement activities and lead times with SCM
• Contribute to project reviews and management information systems
• Communicate information effectively to customers and stakeholders
