Job summary

Novax Recruitment Group seeks a Senior Planner in Dublin to lead development, management and reporting of project programmes for structural steel projects. An established structural steel specialist with a strong portfolio of complex projects is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Planner to join its growing project delivery team in Dublin.

The business delivers structural steelwork across a range of major projects, working closely with clients, contractors, engineers and specialist subcontractors to deliver projects safely, efficiently and to programme.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced planner to take a senior role within a specialist construction environment, providing planning expertise across both tenders and live projects.

The Role

As Senior Planner, you will take responsibility for the development, management and reporting of project programmes across structural steel projects.

Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers and Site Teams, you will provide accurate planning information, monitor progress, identify potential risks and ensure projects remain aligned with agreed programmes and key milestones.

You will also play an important role in supporting project decision-making through detailed planning analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of contract and project programmes for structural steel projects.
• Develop, maintain and update detailed project schedules.
• Produce monthly progress reports covering milestones, resources and productivity.
• Monitor project progress against agreed programmes and identify potential delays.
• Analyse project trends and provide planning insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure planning and reporting requirements for tenders and live contracts are delivered on time.
