Responsibilities

• The post holder will upskill in hand therapy including exercise, splinting and wound care.
• Work with Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist and OT/PT teams to provide a seamless hand therapy service.
• Provide PT hand therapy assessment and intervention programmes for upper limb injuries.
• Develop and coordinate the Musculoskeletal Outpatient Physiotherapy Service with the Senior Musculoskeletal Team.
• Plan, organise and co-ordinate Hand Therapy and Musculoskeletal Orthopaedic Services in line with the organisation's values and plan.
• Identify and implement best-practice procedures to ensure high-quality patient care and resource optimisation.
• Assist Physiotherapy Management in leadership, measured performance and client satisfaction.
