Job summary

The Coombe Hospital in Dublin is seeking a Physiotherapist to manage the full clinical caseload assigned by the physiotherapy manager, in either a defined specialist area or of a more general nature.

You will carry out an assessment, formulate a problem list for each patient and provide a prompt an effective intervention, and carry out an appropriate physiotherapy treatment with due regard for the physiotherapy code of professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage the full clinical caseload assigned by the physiotherapy manager.
• Experience in assessing patients and formulating problem lists for targeted interventions.
• Practise physiotherapy with due regard for professional conduct and standards.
• Ability to evaluate each physiotherapy intervention and its outcomes.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate notes and ensure confidentiality of records.
• Be prepared to undertake other duties as requested by the physiotherapy manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full clinical caseload assigned by the physiotherapy manager.

• Carry out an appropriate physiotherapy treatment for each patient with due regard for the physiotherapy code of professional conduct.
• Evaluate each physiotherapy intervention.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate physiotherapy notes and records in accordance with departmental policy, and to ensure the safekeeping and confidentiality of these records.
• Undertake any other duties as requested by the physiotherapy manager
