Job summary

OptumRx is seeking a senior contracting leader in Ireland to shape pharmacy network strategies across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid lines. This role will partner with finance, legal, and product teams to optimize cost, access, and quality outcomes while managing complex provider agreements.

Responsibilities include contract negotiations, lifecycle management, and regulatory compliance with US programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Proven extensive experience in pharmacy contracting, PBM, or health payer.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities.
• Proven experience negotiating complex provider or vendor agreements.
• Solid financial acumen with ability to interpret pricing models and cost drivers.

Responsibilities

• Lead pharmacy network contracting strategy across multiple lines of business.
• Negotiate complex provider agreements ensuring risk mitigation.
• Model contract economics with finance and actuarial teams.
• Ensure regulatory compliance including CMS Part D and state regulations.
• Lead and develop a team of contracting professionals.
