Job summary

Optum, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Senior Network Contract Manager of Network Contracting in Ireland. The role focuses on contracting and relationship management with payors, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance in a hybrid Dublin-based setup.

The position requires extensive contract management experience in healthcare, financial analysis skills, and proficiency with Word and Excel. It offers a hybrid work model with Dublin office and remote work options, and opportunities

Qualifications

• Proven extensive experience in contract management.
• Proven experience in pharmacy or healthcare environments.
• Demonstrated experience in financial analysis.
• Demonstrated intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with contractual negotiations
• Develop and execute on payor strategy development
• Maintain an ongoing knowledge of payor's business as well as their contracts with Optum
• Provide positive alternatives to complex situations encountered by payors and manage expectations
• Escalate payor concerns internally and to help solve complex issues
• Communicate effectively with payors via face-to-face meetings, conference calls and written correspondence
• Manage contractual obligations including but not limited to contract compliance
• Be a self-starter, produce quality work, make decisions, and deliver on commitments
