Job summary

EFOR is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to join our Projects team in Ireland. You will deliver multiple discipline projects within Pharma/Biopharma, overseeing mechanical installation, commissioning, and handover to operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating contractor activities, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and budget adherence, and contributing to constructability reviews, planning, and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of mechanical construction management experience in Pharma/Biopharma environments.
• Strong mechanical background with the ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexity.
• Experience with installation, commissioning and transition of facility systems to operations.
• Proficiency with standard construction documents, drawings, schedules, contracts and proposals.
• Advanced skills in Windows-based software: Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel, and Access.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical construction activities including equipment and piping installation (Stainless, Carbon, Lined, BPE).
• Coordinate contractor activities to ensure adherence to safety, quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
• Oversee all Health & Safety aspects onsite, participating in constructability, planning, and safety reviews.
• Lead construction field coordination, monitor progress, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Review and contribute to project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Support the start-up, commissioning, and handover of facility systems.
