Job summary

QCS Staffing Ltd seeks a Mechanical Lead for a Roscommon, Ireland based, 12-month life sciences project. You will act as the client representative on site, overseeing mechanical activities from installation through CQV handover.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree and has at least 10 years’ pharma construction experience, with proven EPCM and contractor liaison skills, and a strong focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years’ pharma construction experience.
• Proven management of EPCM partners and contractors.
• Strong quality/technical attributes.
• Experience on large projects involving demolition, HVAC, MEP, utilities and equipment installation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Mechanical Client Representative on site for all mechanical activities throughout delivery and execution.
• Act as client technical authority across installation activities ensuring delivery of mechanical and equipment scopes.
• Manage interfaces between design, construction, CQV and operations to meet critical schedules and ensure constructability.
• Oversee installation quality, manage vendor/contractor interfaces and drive resolution of technical issues.
