Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is hiring a Payroll Manager to lead end-to-end payroll operations for multiple clients. You will ensure accuracy, compliance and excellent client service while working under tight deadlines.

The role requires strong technical payroll knowledge, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple client deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be the point of contact for client payrolls, handle tax matters, and work within our Payroll Team to maintain

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in payroll, preferably in a bureau.
• Strong knowledge of PAYE, BIK, PRSI; ROS and EFT processes.
• Proficient in MS Office and Excel; curious about AI.
• IPASS qualification preferable.

Responsibilities

• Processing of payrolls for multiple clients (weekly, fortnightly, monthly).
• Coordinate preparation of payroll data for staff.
• Produce payroll runs with all relevant documentation and statutory records.
• Handle day-to-day client payroll queries and benefit issues.
• Perform other payroll duties as they arise.
• Serve as subject matter expert on payroll tax within the Employment Tax Team.
