Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Senior R&D P&L Engineer in Packaging & Labeling to lead packaging development for medical devices. You will design, analyze, and validate packaging, work across cross-functional teams, and ensure quality system alignment from concept through commercialization.

The role requires an engineering/science degree with relevant biomedical packaging experience, and a track record in innovative design and manufacturing processes. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• Qualified person to Degree level in Engineering/Science with 4 years of experience or Masters with 2 years of experience.
• Experience in biomedical materials and medical packaging design procedures.
• Proven track record in innovative package design, product development and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop packaging components and assemblies for medical devices from concept to commercialization.
• Design, analyze, troubleshoot, and provide technical support during research and product development.
• Participate in sourcing, testing, and approving materials; prepare design specs and validation reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive best-practice packaging solutions.
