WSP in Ireland invites a senior overhead line engineer to lead the design and delivery of transmission projects up to 400kV, supporting Ireland's energy transition. You will provide technical leadership within multidisciplinary teams, develop routes, perform PLS-CADD modelling, and ensure compliance with standards and client requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in engineering required.
• Experience in overhead transmission line design up to 400kV.
• Strong understanding of design principles and route optimization.
• Experience with major transmission projects and renewable connections.

Aufgaben

• Lead and deliver overhead line design activities for transmission projects (11kV–400kV).
• Provide technical leadership, guidance and mentoring to engineers in multidisciplinary teams.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications and proposals for project development and delivery.
• Perform route development, PLS-CADD modelling, structure spotting, clearance assessments and line optimization studies.
• Support feasibility studies and stakeholder engagement with technical input.
