Job summary

Medforce Healthcare Recruitment is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join an Adult Primary Care Team in South Dublin, Ireland. You will deliver assessments and interventions for adults 18+ in clinic and home settings, working within a multidisciplinary team to promote independence and quality of life.

The role requires CORU registration (or eligibility), a recognised OT degree, and at least three years of post-qualification experience in community or primary care.

Qualifications

• Recognised Qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• Registration with CORU or eligibility for registration.
• Minimum of three years’ post-qualification clinical experience in line with Senior Grade.
• Experience working with adults in community, primary care or relevant setting.
• Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and care-planning skills.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities.
• Access to a car for community/domiciliary visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for adults in primary care.
• Assess functional abilities and promote independence in daily living.
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans.
• Recommend equipment and adaptations to support safe living at home.
• Conduct home assessments and domiciliary visits as required.
• Collaborate with the MDT and other community professionals.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold professional standards.
• Contribute to service development and provide clinical guidance at Senior Grade level.
