Job summary

NTT DATA seeks a Red Hat OpenShift Engineer in Dublin to design, implement, and maintain enterprise OpenShift environments. You will bridge application development and infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security hardening, and deployment automation across multi-cluster platforms.

The role requires 5+ years of OpenShift/Kubernetes experience, proficiency with Java in containerized contexts, and collaboration with development and IT teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production Kubernetes/OpenShift experience.
• BS in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
• Red Hat OpenShift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, upgrade, and maintain multi-cluster OpenShift environments.
• Design, develop, and deploy Java applications in containerized environments.
• Manage cloud-native deployment workflows with Argo CD and CI/CD integrations.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Technical Lead on design and documentation.
• Troubleshoot database performance, capacity, replication, and data issues.
• Optimize processes for speed, efficiency, and scalability.
• Work with clients to deliver scalable, maintainable code.
• Understand infrastructure requirements and CI/CD improvements.
