John Sisk & Son Ltd is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead on-site delivery of civil engineering projects, ensuring quality, safety and financial performance. The role requires full coordination of contract activities, from preconstruction to close-out, while upholding HSEQS and site standards.

You will drive project programmes, manage subcontractor relationships, and ensure timely correspondence to protect the company’s contractual position.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in commercial systems management or estimating support within construction.
• Knowledge of estimating software such as Conquest, CostX or similar.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to prepare contractual correspondence and reports under tight timelines.
• Knowledge of design and build processes and delivery planning for multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

• Develop and manage the contract programme, often with Estimating during tender stage.
• Instruct the QS on major preliminary expenditure including plant, accommodation and temporary works.
• Chair start-up and production meetings to support resource allocation.
• Oversee the subcontract buying schedule with the QS.
• Notify statutory authorities and stakeholders of site commencement.
• Lead the preparation of project programmes, method statements and contract submissions.
• Project Execution Planning, risk management, commercial performance and HSEQS compliance.
• Monitor site progress and liaise with subcontractors and Site Management.
• Manage subcontractor performance and project documentation and close-out.
