Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking an experienced Offensive Security Engineer based in Ireland to join a hands-on security team at the forefront of cloud infrastructure and AI. You will simulate sophisticated attacks and develop tooling to improve defenses across GPU AI platforms.

You will drive red team engagements, validate defenses with purple team exercises, and translate findings into practical remediation for senior stakeholders in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in offensive security, pentesting, red teaming or similar.
• Hands-on cloud-native attack expertise including Kubernetes and IAM.
• Experience creating custom security tooling and post-exploitation capabilities.
• Proven ability to communicate complex findings via executive-ready reports.
• Familiarity with ML infrastructure, GPU AI platforms a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Validate and extend threat models through continuous penetration testing and risk assessment.
• Automate routine security validations while reserving manual analysis for high-impact cases.
• Plan and execute red team engagements across cloud compute, storage, and networks.
• Identify attack paths impacting operations or customer environments.
• Collaborate with blue teams on purple team exercises and improvements.
• Research novel GPU and AI infrastructure attack surfaces and defenses.
• Assess isolation boundaries and low-level attack paths in multi-tenant environments.
• Develop offensive tooling and post-exploitation capabilities to scale testing.
• Produce clear reports with remediation guidance for engineers and leadership.
