Job summary

RecruitNet International Ltd is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing for a hospital in Tralee, Ireland, on a one-year fixed term contract with day/night rotation.

The role requires registration with NMBI, a Nursing degree, at least 5 years post-registration experience, CNM2 level or higher, and proven clinical and managerial capability in acute care. Qualifications

• Registered nurse with NMBI registration.

• Experience in multi-professional environment and governance/audit.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient safety at all times.
• Ensure effective throughput of patients within the service.
• Arrange workloads to maximise resource use.
• Analyse, monitor and forecast trends relevant to the service.
• Direct involvement in service planning, implementation and evaluation, including quality audits.
• Apply best practice with action plans to improve services.
