Job summary

TechEir Limited is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead design, deployment and optimization of enterprise networking across Ireland. You will manage wired, wireless, satellite and managed network services, mentoring junior engineers and delivering secure, scalable solutions for diverse clients.

The role requires CCNA, 5+ years in enterprise networks, and strong TCP/IP, routing, switching, and VPN expertise. Travel to customer locations across Ireland is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• CCNA certification.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in enterprise networks.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, wireless, security, VPNs, DHCP, DNS and QoS.
• Experience configuring Cisco enterprise networking solutions.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and support enterprise LAN, WAN and SD-WAN environments.
• Configure and maintain Cisco switching, routing and wireless networking solutions.
• Deliver enterprise Wi‑Fi deployments, surveys and performance optimization.
• Install and support Starlink Business, VSAT and rural connectivity solutions.
• Produce network documentation and implementation plans.
• Provide third-line technical support and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with customers to deliver secure, scalable networks.
