Job summary

Optum is seeking a Senior Network Contract Manager to lead contractual negotiations and manage relationships with payors in support of Network Contracting. The role focuses on developing payor strategies, monitoring contract obligations, and ensuring client satisfaction in a hybrid model across Dublin.

The successful candidate will have proven pharmacy/healthcare experience, strong financial analysis skills, and solid proficiency in Word and Excel, with strategic thinking and project management

Qualifications

• Proven experience in pharmacy or healthcare environments.
• Demonstrated experience in financial analysis.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with contractual negotiations.
• Develop and execute payor strategy development.
• Maintain knowledge of payor business and Optum contracts.
• Provide solutions to complex payor situations and manage expectations.
• Escalate payor concerns internally and with vendors as needed.
• Communicate with payors via meetings, calls and written correspondence.
• Manage contractual obligations including contract compliance.
