Job summary

Amazon AWS Networking is hiring Network Development Engineers to help design and operate the global backbone connecting Regions and customers. You will work on scalable, highly available networks and influence routing policy, traffic engineering, and data-center interconnects.

Join AIS and Border Network Engineering to deliver reliable connectivity, troubleshoot complex problems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Strong understanding of IP routing and troubleshooting.
Experience with BGP/OSPF in large-scale networks.
Experience in Linux/Unix environments.
Knowledge of routing policy and network design principles.

Responsibilities

Design network topologies, architectures, and services for diverse requirements.
Contribute to team roadmaps by listening to customers and feedback.
Collaborate with leadership to prioritize projects aligning with the mission.
Design proactively to anticipate customer and technology needs.
Create and defend High Level Design documents for network solutions.
Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to influence roadmaps.
Construct, test, and validate network solutions for reliability and performance.
Provide technical support and guidance to deployment and operations teams.
Serve as a technical escalation point for operations, enabling fast resolution.
Scope and deliver complex network solutions with appropriate resources and timelines.
