Job summary
ALLPS is seeking a senior .NET developer to join a long-running modernisation programme for a large public-sector organisation in Ireland. You will work on a core enterprise business application built on .NET and the Naked Objects framework, supporting its development, rationalisation and move to modern delivery practices.
The role requires work on-site in Dublin with the client team for at least 4 days per month and a strong emphasis on secure development, test automation and AI-enabled
Qualifications
- Must have direct, hands-on experience with the Naked Objects framework.
- 12+ years in software development.
- 8+ years in enterprise .NET environments (C#, .NET, SQL Server).
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD.
- Based in Ireland, the UK or the EU/EEA, with the right to work there.
- Able to travel to Dublin at least 4 days per month.
- At least 2 relevant projects in the last 3 years with references if asked.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise .NET applications built on the Naked Objects framework.
- Improve software development lifecycle practices, including Azure DevOps pipelines and test automation.
- Support test data management and contract testing.
- Contribute to database decomposition and modularisation of a large application.
- Help introduce AI-enabled and agentic AI ways of working in software engineering.
- Apply secure development, software assurance and compliance practices.
- Work on-site with the client team in Dublin at least 4 days per month.
