Job summary

MyHome.ie in Dublin is seeking an experienced backend developer to lead the rebuild of our .NET 8 microservices platform on Azure Kubernetes. You will own services end-to-end, migrate from legacy .NET Framework, and ship production-grade code against a live, revenue-generating site.

This hands-on role requires design, coding and testing in a small team with minimal supervision. You will work on API gateways, event-driven flows, and the deployment pipeline, collaborating across Azure SQL,

Qualifications

• 6+ years of commercial backend development experience.
• Proficiency with C# and .NET 8+ in ASP.NET Core.
• Experience delivering production microservices at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship .NET 8 microservices behind API gateway.
• Migrate legacy estate to the new platform with a strangler pattern.
• Build event-driven flows using MassTransit and Azure Service Bus.
