Job summary

Mane in Ireland seeks an experienced MV Specialist Electrical Design Engineer to own medium-voltage systems for data centre, mission-critical and industrial projects. You will lead technical delivery from concept through handover, ensuring safety, reliability and compliance with project specs.

Working with multidisciplinary teams, you will perform power system studies, review equipment, coordinate with vendors and QA teams, and mentor junior engineers while driving engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in MV electrical design and power systems engineering.
• Experience delivering electrical packages on data centre or mission-critical projects.
• Excellent knowledge of MV distribution systems, switchgear and protection systems.
• Experience undertaking power system studies and interpreting results.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and technical delivery of medium-voltage electrical systems.
• Develop MV distribution designs, equipment specs and technical documentation.
• Carry out power system studies including load flow, short circuit and protection coordination.
• Review MV switchgear, transformers and protection relays.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage technical submissions.
• Support installation, testing, commissioning and system handover.
