Job summary

Search Talent is seeking a Senior Modern Workplace Engineer to implement, configure, and support Microsoft 365 and Modern Workplace solutions for its customers in a hands-on capacity. The role spans across Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, Defender, Copilot enablement, and Purview, delivering secure cloud-first environments with thorough documentation, mentoring for junior engineers, and strong governance.

Qualifications

5+ years in Modern Workplace or Microsoft Cloud engineering roles.
Hands-on experience delivering migrations, governance, and security controls.
Proven ability to configure and support enterprise Microsoft 365 environments.

Responsibilities

Implement, configure, maintain, and support Modern Workplace solutions across Microsoft 365 environments.
Provide senior technical support and engineering expertise across Copilot readiness, governance, and data protection.
Perform data governance and compliance using Microsoft Purview; implement identity/security controls (Entra ID, CA, MFA).
Deliver hands-on technical implementation work including migrations, tenant deployments, and endpoint management.
Produce clear technical documentation, implementation plans, and customer handover packages.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing and standards.
