Job summary

BearingPoint is looking for an individual to lead Microsoft Purview and Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness engagements. Responsibilities include designing and deploying data governance capabilities and running workshops with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview, excellent consulting skills, and the ability to effectively communicate technical topics in business language. Relevant Microsoft certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Microsoft Purview experience across information protection, DLP, retention, records management, audit, and compliance.
• Experience in Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness, governance, implementation, or secure adoption programmes.
• Strong consulting and client-facing skills, including workshops, stakeholder engagement, and solution design.

Job description

What you will do

• Lead Microsoft Purview and Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness, governance, and implementation engagements for clients.
• Design and deploy capabilities such as sensitivity labels, DLP, retention, eDiscovery, audit, and other Purview controls.
• Support secure AI workplace adoption by identifying oversharing risks, improving data governance, and defining practical guardrails for Copilot.
• Run workshops with client stakeholders, translate technical requirements into business outcomes, and produce high‑quality project deliverables.
• Work across the wider Microsoft stack including Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, Intune, and adjacent security services.

What we are looking for

• Strong hands‑on Microsoft Purview experience across information protection, DLP, retention, records management, audit, and compliance.
• Experience in Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness, governance, implementation, or secure adoption programmes.
• Strong consulting and client‑facing skills, including workshops, stakeholder engagement, and solution design.
• Good understanding of Microsoft 365 core services and adjacent security technologies such as Entra ID, Intune, Defender, and SharePoint.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical topics clearly in business language.

Desirable

• Relevant Microsoft certifications such as SC‑400, SC‑100, SC‑200, SC‑300, or MS‑102.
• Experience in consulting or professional services.
• PowerShell, Power Platform, or Copilot Studio governance experience.
