Job summary

Jobgether partners with a company seeking a Senior Technical Trainer in Ireland to design, develop, and deliver hands-on ML courses for engineers. The role is remote and freelance, with flexible hours and a roughly three-month initial project.

You will script short video lessons, craft labs, and present on camera to a global audience. You will collaborate with curriculum specialists and production teams, focusing on teaching and practical content rather than production tasks.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience training, evaluating, and shipping ML models using scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
• Clear ability to explain ML concepts to engineers new to the field.
• Excellent written and spoken English for scripting and narration.
• Genuine passion for teaching through online courses, tutorials, or talks.
• Active interest in ML developments and continuous learning.
• Comfort presenting technical material on camera with engaging delivery.
• Willingness to follow established teaching methodologies and collaborate with editors.
• Preferred qualifications include publishing courses on Udemy/Pluralsight/Coursera, or teaching in universities, bootcamps, or similar; knowledge of fine-tuning, MLOps, or deploying models; cloud ML certifications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop course structure, sections, lessons, and practical labs.
• Write detailed lab specifications and test lab environments for accuracy.
• Create engaging video scripts and six-minute lessons for engineers.
• Deliver scripted technical presentations and record demonstrations with clear explanations.
• Build course materials grounded in training, evaluation, and deployment experiences.
• Incorporate editorial feedback to meet quality and teaching standards.
• Collaborate with curriculum and production teams via weekly updates and Slack.
