Qualcomm Cork site is seeking Mixed-Signal Physical Design Engineers to join our team in Cork, Ireland. You will lead analog mixed-signal physical design projects at 3nm tech, tackling complex PHYs and subsystems across global teams, focusing on performance and power optimization.

The role requires hands-on design, automation, and scripting in Tcl/Perl/C, with strong communication skills and experience delivering PD projects. Relocation and immigration support may be provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
• Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
• PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to physical design projects for 3nm technology and below across global sites.
• Collaborate on analog mixed-signal IPs (SerDes, Sensors & DDR) and related subsystems.
• Improve power, performance, and area through innovative design techniques.
• Develop automation and scripts to streamline PHY design flows.
• Ensure DRC/LVS compliance and timing closure across complex multi-million gate SoCs.
