Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking an onsite Senior MES Engineer for a North Dublin based pharmaceutical client. This is a 12-month FTC with a strong likelihood of extension, offering hybrid work and long-term opportunities.

You will implement MES recipe changes in Emerson Syncade MES, support Electronic Batch Records, and drive IT changes in a GMP setting while coordinating with business users and technical teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience supporting IT applications including incident management, change controls, documentation, testing.
• MES Recipe Authoring experience, ideally with Emerson Syncade MES.
• Experience implementing IT changes in a GMP-regulated environment.
• Proficiency in Visual Basic, configuration management, and MSSQL Server.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Self-motivated and delivery-focused, able to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement System/MES recipe changes and provide day-to-day support for Electronic Batch Records, Weigh and Dispense, and Equipment Management modules using Emerson Syncade MES.
• Maintain the incident queue in ServiceNow, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution and documentation.
• Initiate and drive Change Control activities in accordance with GMP quality standards and site procedures.
• Produce clear, high-quality, and maintainable configuration, and perform testing of MES recipes and changes.
• Generate validation documentation and support incident investigations per EHS procedures.
• Build effective cross-functional relationships and communicate with business users and technical teams.
