Job summary

Ethos Engineering is seeking a Senior Building Services Engineer to lead mechanical building services/MEP design for energy, industrial and commercial projects within a building services consultancy. You will manage the full project lifecycle and mentor staff, with a hybrid role based in Ireland and Dublin office attendance as needed.

Key qualifications include a honours degree in mechanical/building services and 7+ years’ experience in consultancy, with Chartered status as an advantage.

Qualifications

• Honours degree in mechanical/building services.
• 7+ years in MEP design in consultancy.
• Experience across energy, industrial and/or commercial sectors.
• Chartered status is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical building services design from concept to completion.
• Represent Ethos at client and design team meetings.
• Coordinate mechanical designs with architecture, structure, electrical and process teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure QA standards.
• Prepare tender packages and technical reports.
