Job summary

Design Build Search are recruiting on behalf of Ireland's fastest growing construction company for a Building Services Manager. You will oversee the design, coordination, installation and commissioning of MEP systems across pharma facilities, data centres and logistics warehouses.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering, at least seven years in MEP roles, and strong leadership, budgeting and BIM experience.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in MEP/building services roles.
• Strong pharma, data centre, or logistics project experience.
• Proven track record managing large-scale, complex projects.
• Low Voltage Appointed Person certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all MEP aspects of construction projects from design through commissioning.
• Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, and architectural teams.
• Review and manage MEP subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure works are delivered in line with project schedules and milestones.
• Review and approve MEP designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure systems meet project requirements, client specifications, and industry standards.
• Drive value engineering and technical innovation.
• Resolve technical issues and design conflicts.
• Ensure GMP compliance across projects.
• Oversee cleanroom systems, HVAC validation, and environmental control.
• Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Commercial awareness and cost control expertise.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with BIM and digital construction tools.
